Recently, people have been leaving southern Europe because of the many acts of terror on the region. Also, the mass immigration of refugees have forced many others to leave. Overpopulation is beginning to become an issue for southern europe. Even though southern Europe is very developed, it is still not as developed as western Europe. In fact, Kosovo is experiencing serious poverty. Pull factors to Southern Europe Southern Europe is known for being rich and a safe and considerably easier for fleeing refugees to get to than America. After the fall of the Soviet Union, southern Europe became examples to the rest of the world. Not only that, but southern Europe became a source of hope for lesser developed countries. A strong and large middle class encourages lower class people immigrating to Southern Europe. |
